Aaron Alford's writing has appeared in Oxford American, Memoir, Hobart Online, Bellingham Review, River Teeth, The Los Angeles Review, and elsewhere. He has served on the mastheads of several literary magazines, most recently as Managing Editor of Southern Humanities Review at Auburn University.
He earned a Ph.D. in English (creative writing: nonfiction) at Texas Tech University, where he taught courses in literature, creative writing, and first-year writing.
He currently works with the communications team at Texas A&M University's College of Architecture.
He lives in Bryan, Texas, with his wife and two sons.
