Aaron Alford's writing has appeared in Oxford American, Memoir, Hobart Online, Bellingham Review, River Teeth, The Los Angeles Review, and elsewhere. He has served on the mastheads of several literary magazines, including a four-year stint as Managing Editor of Southern Humanities Review at Auburn University.
He earned a Ph.D. in English (creative writing: nonfiction) at Texas Tech University, where he taught courses in literature, creative writing, and first-year writing.
He covers renewable fuels markets as a journalist for Oil Price Information Service (OPIS). He lives in Bryan, Texas, with his wife and two sons.
