Aaron Alford covers renewable fuels markets and industry news for Dow Jones. He lives in the Brazos River Valley in Texas.

He has served on the mastheads of several publications, including a stint as Managing Editor of Southern Humanities Review at Auburn University. He holds a Ph.D. in English (creative writing: nonfiction) from Texas Tech University, where he taught courses in creative writing, literature, and first-year writing.
